Thibaut Houdy
I am an assistant professor at Paris-Saclay University, working at IJCLab. My current research focuses on accelerator neutrino physics with the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment and on the search for axions with the MADMAX experiment. I have previously studied solar neutrinos in Borexino, the possible existence of sterile neutrinos in the eV and keV ranges, the determination of the neutrino mass with the KATRIN experiment.
Research
- Since Oct. 2023
- Member of the MADMAX collaboration. Launched activities at IJCLab on dark matter axion searches using dielectrics.
- Since Sept. 2021
- Member of the IJCLab Neutrino group and the DUNE collaboration.
- DUNE-TDR
- Contributed to the design, production and assembly of Vertical Drift chimneys and electronics.
- DUNE-Orsay
- Current local activities include Vertical Drift ProtoDUNE reconstruction with LArSoft, prototype data analysis, and treatment of DUNE systematics in existing fitters.
- 2018-2021
- Investigation on the neutrino mass with the KATRIN experiment. Studied dark matter candidates as keV sterile neutrino in the TRISTAN project and axions in the IAXO helioscope.
- 2014-2017
- Reevaluation of the 8B solar neutrinos rate and investigation of the eV sterile neutrino existence with a 144Ce antineutrino source in the Borexino experiment.
