Thibaut Houdy

I am an assistant professor at Paris-Saclay University, working at IJCLab. My current research focuses on accelerator neutrino physics with the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment and on the search for axions with the MADMAX experiment. I have previously studied solar neutrinos in Borexino, the possible existence of sterile neutrinos in the eV and keV ranges, the determination of the neutrino mass with the KATRIN experiment.

Member of the MADMAX collaboration. Launched activities at IJCLab on dark matter axion searches using dielectrics.
Since Sept. 2021
Member of the IJCLab Neutrino group and the DUNE collaboration.
DUNE-TDR
Contributed to the design, production and assembly of Vertical Drift chimneys and electronics.
DUNE-Orsay
Current local activities include Vertical Drift ProtoDUNE reconstruction with LArSoft, prototype data analysis, and treatment of DUNE systematics in existing fitters.
2018-2021
Investigation on the neutrino mass with the KATRIN experiment. Studied dark matter candidates as keV sterile neutrino in the TRISTAN project and axions in the IAXO helioscope.

Reevaluation of the 8B solar neutrinos rate and investigation of the eV sterile neutrino existence with a 144Ce antineutrino source in the Borexino experiment.
